In 1995 Lisa M. Scelsi, CPA began working as a sole practitioner. Lisa formed Scelsi & Associates, LLC in 1999 to meet the needs of her growing practice. Salvatore Scelsi joined the firm in 2002 after a successful career in the private industry. In 2012 Burns Egan Byrne, P.A. merged with Scelsi & Associates, LLC. The merger provided us with an opportunity to maintain our growth pattern and provide a broader array of services to our clients.

By participating in Peer Review our accounting and auditing services are inspected, along with our policies and procedures to assure our training, supervision of work and continuing education results in an effective quality control system.
The Peer Review is conducted by an independent evaluator, known as the peer reviewer. The AICPA oversees the program, and the review is administered by an entity approved by the AICPA to perform that role.
